MBA 517 - Organization and Management: A Global Perspective
Catalog Year 2009-2010
This course takes the perspective of organizations as complex
social systems in which managers must develop the ability to solve
problems and discover opportunities from the complex
interdependencies of the organization with its increasingly global
environment. The emphasis in this course is managerial problem
solving based on the findings of behavioral science. Concepts from
the behavioral sciences are used as tools to diagnose
organizational problems/opportunities and formulate action plans to
improve organizational performance.
