PBJ 365 - Introduction to Criminal Law 2010-2011 Catalog Year
A study of basic criminal law principles with special emphasis on
the criminal law in New York State. Crime, punishment, mental
culpability, and defenses (intoxication, mistake, insanity) will be
discussed, using a general procedural framework beginning with
arrest and culminating in the appellate process. Case method.
PREREQ: PBJ 101 and upper division standing and nine hours social science credit, or instructor permission. OFFERED: Fall, Spring CREDIT: 3
