Cosponsoring Programs: Chemistry and Geology
The Geochemistry program, leading to a BS degree is sponsored by the faculty of the Department of Atmospheric and Geological Sciences and the Department of Chemistry. The objective of this program is to train individuals who will be able to conduct and supervise a variety of projects in geochemical applications, such as geochemical exploration, environmental management, and environmental impact studies, etc. In addition to being prepared for such employment, graduates of this program would be well-prepared for entering graduate school in geology, geochemistry, or chemistry.
