Program Description
The Nursing Home Administration Certificate is designed for aspiring professionals seeking to specialize in managing and overseeing operations of nursing homes and long term care facilities. Learn from experienced faculty members who possess the knowledge and practical experience in this healthcare sector, especially focusing on the unique challenges and responsibilities associated with the long term care industry. The 5 course curriculum covering healthcare finance, human resource management, healthcare law, gerontology and nursing home administration, is also designed to meet the New York State education requirement for those seeking to obtain their Nursing Home administrator license.
