Our advanced Integrated Health Systems certificate program offers an excellent opportunity to master skills that improve user interaction and health communication with technology and systems by transcending academic fields and involving faculty from diverse programs such as computer science, communication studies and graphic design. While learning to develop programs, tools and ideas that will enhance the exchange of health information between people, functions, and facilities, students seize the opportunity, alongside clinicians, to help make healthcare more efficient and better serve all constituencies. This program can be completed in the classroom or entirely online. The advanced certificate program prepares graduates for the growing healthcare market, which needs professionals who understand the psychological, cultural, and social changes that come along with adopting new technology. Credits from this program may also be applied to a master’s degree in biomedical and health informatics or human-computer interaction.
