B. Elective Requirements (15 cr)

• Six hours in COM prefix courses under advisement (6 cr)
• Nine hours in BRC prefix courses, under advisement to include six hours at the 300- or 400-level (9 cr)

C. Cognate Requirements (6 cr)

• POL 205 - American Government and Politics

Note:

Students majoring in any degree program in Communication Studies are required to earn at least a C- (C minus) in all core and elective courses credited to the major. Students earning less than a C- should seek advisement before repeating any course.
