CRJ 230 - Introduction to Corrections This course provides an introduction to the theory and practice of corrections in the US criminal justice system. It will examine the functions and structures of jails and prisons and focus on multiple correctional practices and their effects on individuals and groups. It will explore recent trends in corrections.
Prerequisite: CRJ 101; or instructor permission. Offered: Fall, Spring Credit: 3
