ART 339 - Art Therapy Principles

2018-2019 Catalog Year:

Didactic and experiential overview of history, theories, and application of art therapy. Students explore materials and media used in therapy sessions. Offers overview of the creative process as art therapy. Readings and exercises assist students to increase self-awareness of their creative process and importance of using creativity to empower others.

Prerequisite: HDV 101 or PSY 100 and upper division standing; or instructor permission.
Offered: Not on a regular basis.
