ART 336 - Art Therapy Practices

2018-2019 Catalog Year:

Didactic and experiential overview of the diverse approaches, settings, and populations within the field. Attention spent on how art therapists design and facilitate group sessions based on group needs and/or setting. Readings, discussions, and art experientials increase understanding of how art therapists empower others to reach goals through creativity.

Prerequisite: HDV 101 or PSY 100 and upper division standing; or instructor permission.
