MBA 610 - Nursing Home Administration

Catalog Year: 2016-2017

This course is designed to provide insight into nursing home management issues for the seasoned veteran and the health care ?neophyte? manager. In addition, this course will assist the manager in developing his/her style of management. The course follows the traditional outline of management theory courses, including: planning, organizing, staffing, directing, controlling, TQM/CQI, and decision-making; specifically applying these concepts to a residential health care facility. This course will be taught online but if needed, it can be taught in a traditional classroom setting or as a hybrid course.

Prerequisite: Graduate standing or permission of the program director.
