ADO 555 - Science & Mathematics Methods

Catalog Year: 2016-2017

Study of curriculum and methods of instruction in the sciences and mathematics in secondary schools. Focus will include NY State Mathematics Common Core Standards and state and national standards across the science disciplines, instructional decision-making, learning theories, curricular content, teaching and learning in diverse environments, and investigations arising from field experiences.

Prerequisite: EDU 507 and SPE 504
