SPE 504 - Teaching Exceptional Students
Catalog Year 2009-2010
This course provides an introduction to P.L. 94-142, Section 504,
P.L. 99-457, subsequent legislation and amendments, the New York
Special Education Process, and contemporary models, issues and
trends in the field of special education. Areas of exceptionality
are studied in the relation to definitions, characteristics,
etiologies, and educational implications
PREREQ: Graduate standing.
