PBJ 347 - Crime and Society 2009-2010 Catalog Year
This course examines the governmental, economic, and cultural
institutions that create statuses based on class, race, and gender
to assess their influence on the definitions of crime, the
criminal, and justice. Topics include research on corporate crime,
racial disparities in the criminal justice process, and feminist
criminology.
PREREQ: upper division standing, completion of PBJ 101, and
at least nine hours of social sciences credit. OFFERED: Fall, Spring CREDIT: 3
