COM 302 - Message Criticism 2009-2010 Catalog Year
A critical examination of the persuasive information in a wide
diversity of present day messages, from speeches, to private
messages, to popular art forms. This course will discuss certain
rhetorical theories, concepts, and premises as tools for critically
understanding and appreciating the persuasiveness of messages in a
variety of forms.
PREREQ: COM 100 and either COM 210 or BRC 108. OFFERED: Spring CREDIT: 3
