MAT 179 - Measuring Life 3 Credits
This course presents knowledge foundations for modeling processes
of plant and animal life. Topics include exponential models,
probability, descriptive and inferential statistics, and
experimental and sampling design. The course serves as an
introduction to the range and power of mathematical thinking. Prerequisite: high school algebra I or New York State Course III,
and a high school or college biology course. When Offered: Fall, Spring
