HIS 430 - Seminar on the Russian Revolution

3 Credits

Deals with the issues and problems concerning the Bolshevik seizure of power, the aspirations of the masses, and the Bolshevik’s consolidation of power.
Prerequisite: 1.) advanced class standing and a previous course in the area; or a general level of competence indicated by three previous courses in the social sciences and/or humanities 2.) seminars and colloquia require the permission of the instructor.
