ART 316 - Painting III

3 Credits

Painting III is an advanced level painting class that focuses on the continued development of the technical and conceptual aspects involved in painting. Specific attention will be placed on the development of a thematically linked portfolio. Additionally, an in-depth discussion of contemporary painting and critical theory will be offered through slide lectures, discussions and critiques.Note: Materials charge required.
Prerequisite: ART 105, 210, 215 and 315 or instructor permission.
