CHE 511 - Microcomputers In The Chemistry Laboratory

Catalog Year 2009-2010

This course is designed for all science majors who wish to create computer-instrument interfaces and who wish to use such interfaces for data acquisition in the laboratory. Both the hardware and software aspects of interfacing are addressed. Programming assignments are in FORTRAN, PASCAL and assembly languages.

PREREQ: Csc 212, 214 or equivalent high level language experience, Che 212 and Phy 212.
